At Fleurieu Bike, we stand behind the quality of our products and services. This policy outlines your rights and our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy overrides your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:

Is faulty or defective

Is not as described

Is not fit for its intended purpose
2. Change of Mind Returns
We understand that sometimes things don’t work out.
We accept returns for change of mind under the following conditions:

Return request made within 14 days of delivery

Item is unused, in original condition, and in original packaging

Proof of purchase is provided

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Original shipping costs are non-refundable

A refund will be issued once the item is received and inspected
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return unless faulty:

Used or installed bike parts

Custom orders or special-order items

Gift cards

Workshop services already completed
4. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives faulty or damaged:

Contact us within 7 days of receiving the item

Provide photos and a description of the issue
We will:

Offer a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the situation

Cover return shipping costs where applicable
5. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for:

Incorrect sizing

Product swaps (subject to availability)
Items must meet the same conditions as change-of-mind returns.
6. Workshop & Service Bookings
For bike servicing, repairs, or mentoring sessions:

Cancellations: Must be made at least 24 hours in advance

Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee

If we are unable to complete the service, a full or partial refund will be provided
7. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected:

You will be notified of the outcome

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear

9. Shipping Returns
